Aave has announced the launch of free onramps for Stablecoins in Europe, following approval under the European MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation). The new service allows users to convert euros into stablecoins without commissions, significantly lowering the barriers to entry for decentralized finance (DeFi). According to Aave, the introduction of zero commission on onramps aims to increase financial inclusivity and support the growth of the DeFi ecosystem in the region. In July 2025, European users will be able to use the service to instantly exchange euros for major stablecoins such as USDC and DAI at no additional cost. The decision comes against the backdrop of the recent enactment of MiCA, which created uniform standards for the regulation of cryptoassets in the European Union. Analysts estimate that the number of new DeFi users in Europe has increased by 18% in the last six months since MiCA was passed. Aave officials note that the free onramps not only make the platform more attractive to retail investors, but also promote a transparent and regulated environment for digital assets. Other major industry players are expected to roll out similar initiatives in the coming months.
  • Zero commission on the introduction of euros into stablecoins
  • Support for USDC, DAI and other leading stablecoins
  • DeFi user growth of 18% after MiCA adoption
The launch of Aave free onramps marks a new stage in the development of the European DeFi market, opening up access to innovative financial products to a wide range of users.
